There’s an easy way to arrange icons of running applications in the macOS menu bar. Up until the latest version of macOS (before Sierra), only the system items, like clock and Spotlight, could be moved.
But starting with macOS 10.12 (Sierra), it’s possible to rearrange the icons of all running applications, like that of Trickster, in the menu bar by holding down the Command ⌘ key on your keyboard and dragging the items with the mouse. Like this:
Trivia: Which item on the menu bar cannot be moved?
Answer: The Notifications Center icon, which always stays in the top-right corner.
